The simplest definition of Public Relations is “doing good and getting credit for it.” Organizations that step up in times of crisis should be recognized for taking care of their communities. But media relations in situations like is this not about ego or a pat on the back; it’s about recognizing and honoring the selfless dedication of the team members making it happen and inspiring the larger community around them to also take action.
